What do you make / sell? Tell us about yo’ self.
A French pastry shop in a little yellow house in Mission! We create sweets that are as good as they look. Although we are known for our macarons, we have plenty of other treats.
How long have you had your business?
7 years
How did you get started?
Married a pastry chef!
Who or what inspires your work?
The “people”. My customers, my staff are what drives me to keep going and thrive for the best quality.
What do you dream for your business in the future?
To keep growing within our values and be able to pay employees as much as possible to create great career jobs.
What’s your favourite social media platform and why?
Instagram is wonderful as our product is lovely in pictures. Facebook also works great for us. Twitter would be our least used venue from our customers at this point.
How do you pick yourself up when things go wrong?
Tea, chocolate and a walk alone before chatting with a friend and/or other business owner.
What’s one thing no one knows about you? Give us an interesting fact!
Almost no one knows that I was actually born in Calgary but raised in France! I was 9 months old when my French parents took me there. Yes… this is why I speak funny. I am ESL…!
If you could have any super power what would it be?
The power to stop or at least slow down time!
