What do you make / sell? Tell us about yo’ self.
Greta Jane Paper Co. is a one woman operation based out of Calgary, Canada. I sell cards and prints that are fundamentally adorable, but really blur the line between funny and inappropriate. My dream is to take over the world one weird and whimsical paper product at a time.
I give birth to each of these nuggets on my own – from conception to designing, illustrating, cutting, scoring and packaging each card. I know – DAYUM!

How long have you had your business?
Since December 2015
How did you get started?
It began a long time ago, on a far away land outside of formal institutions. I had a blog called candy for breakfast, about a wild eyed bug named Eke who did and thought widely inappropriate things. The blog became quite popular and I realized – people like the inappropriate. So I started Greta Jane Paper Co. in late 2015 as a creative outlet for me to be able to share and profit from the fruits of my obsession with the inappropriate, hand lettering and sketching.
Who or what inspires your work?
I am inspired by strong women who aren’t afraid to say vagina in public. I can also spend hours in pen shops and watching lettering videos on Instagram.
What do you dream for your business in the future?
I would like for my business to flourish into a full fledged beast. Right now Greta Jane is just my side ho, but I have great hopes for her. If someone were to give me 100k, I would get a studio, a letter press, paints and a lazer cutter, and I’d make the world a better place.
What’s your favourite social media platform and why?
Instagram. It’s easy peasy lemon squeezy.
How do you pick yourself up when things go wrong?
I tell myself to pull my tits up and head high and that there is nothing a good cup of coffee and some candy can not fix. But sometimes I cry and that’s okay.
What’s one thing no one knows about you? Give us an interesting fact!
I am from Paris, France. I like the texture of marshmallows, the smell of tomato plants and I still use the same pencil case I had in high school.
If you could have any super power what would it be?
I should not be trusted with any kind of super power. Maybe telepathy or mind control, that way I could get Oprah to adopt me.
